Nonprofit IT manager by day, dad by evening, web developer and community manager by night... and husband around the clock!
Currently, I work as an all-things-IT guy at a nonprofit cancer research group in Chicago. My daily life involves Microsoft Access database programming, Linux file server management, and IT support. I have a big interest in team innovation, facilitation, online collaboration, employee engagement & recognition and lean project management (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
By night I manage several on-line communities and develop various web projects using WordPress, WebCollab, Simple Machine Forum, Moodle and other open source systems.
Using Task Coach and Portable Kanban to manage my ever growing list of tasks.
